Ya es tiempo to start posting so it seems appropriate to start with Alla. Chicanos from Chicago, they want to change pop music specifically psychedelic pop music. I love them for trying. They are armed with their sonic manifesto. What is not to like? The music is lush, warm and with electronics – just how I like it. I haven’t checked out all the songs but I like Un Dia Otra Noche. Alla just performed at the LAMC in NYC and did live performance on KCRW. Here is their video for Un Dia Otra Noche. They play with string section. guaw.
